On Monday, February 2, 2015, forty-four ninth grade Israeli Students from the same high school that Ilan Ramon attended visited the Center for Space and the Space Mirror Memorial. During their visit, special guests gave short speeches honoring the Astronauts Memorial Foundation, Ilan Ramon, and all of the other astronauts honored by the Foundation. Speakers included Alan Helman, the founder of the Astronauts Memorial Foundation;  Jon McBride, the immediate past chairman of the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and former astronaut; Bob Sieck, trustee for the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and former NASA launch director; and Rabbi Patricia Hickman.
