When you renew your registration at your local tax collector's office, simply let them know you wish to replace your current license plate with a specialty license plate. Specialty license plates cost a set fee (annually) above the standard Florida license plate, and the fees vary based on the type of license plate. These additional funds go to support the cause for which the specialty license plate was designed.

The "Those We Honor" poster is a tribute to the twenty-four astronauts who lost their lives on missions or in training for missions. Included on the poster is a picture of the AMF Dedication Patch and The Astronauts Memorial Foundation official logo. The Official Dedication Patch
Patch The renowned space artist Robert T. McCall created the patch. It honors the 24 astronauts whose names appear on the Space Mirror Memorial located at the Kennedy Space Center. In October1990, the original version of the patch flew on the Discovery STS-41 mission, which deployed the Ulysses spacecraft. The patch is permanently displayed in the AMF Center for Space Education, located adjacent to the Space Mirror at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex. The patch has endured several revisions since it was created. The design features a sunrise against the deep blue of space, with the moon rising above the space background. Twenty four gold stars are scattered across the space background, representing the honored astronauts. A laurel wreath, symbolizing honor and glory, frames the design. The names of the astronauts encircle the emblem. You can support The AMF by donating $15.00.
